It's been quite a while since I last blogged. Bah...anyway exams are coming in a few days time and it's been quite screwed up in terms of preparations.

Anime on Central is now showing Peacemaker and Scrapped Princess. Really nice shows, in my opinion, people should watch it. Peacemaker's story hasn't really expanded much but it seemed to have dived straight in after Thursday's episode. The characters in the show all seem to have such dark backgrounds, it makes you want to know more and more. As for Scrapped Princess, well, the main character Pacifica, is known as the Scrapped Princess, who was prophesized when she was born to be the 'poison that will destroy the world' when she turns 16. Sad, sad life she leads.

Got the Air Supply Forever Love album few weeks ago. Really great ballads in there. Air Supply rocks, well not really since they do mostly ballads, not rock. But their music is still superb. The string arrangements on most of their songs simply adds a wonderful atmosphere to the romantic lyrics. Guitars by member Graham Russell also compliments the songs. Vocals by Russell Hitchcock is superb, his voice is amazing, though he sounds like a woman. I'd definitely recommend the album to all fans of sentimental music.

Guess i'll stop blogging here, gotta go back to mug some more. Gonna fail my humanities.

anyway, not much happened today, except that irwan and low announced that there'll be cca stand down after this friday's training at ecp. YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! more importantly, this gives me the opportunity to catch up on my studies. what makes it worse is that i haven't even started on fye revision and english paper is on 2nd sept. crappy indeed. thank god the rest of the papers got pushed back.

maths sucked. omf was going too fast and she was asking "can i go a bit faster?". wtf is wrong with her. anyway the whole class pretty much screwed the chem ionic equations quiz (i got 3.5/10 which is not bad considering the number of zeros, ones and twos).

watched the tape i borrowed from des in which he recorded last wed's and thurs' inuyasha and shaman king. wasn't really interested in inuyasha since i didn't follow it, but i decided to watch it anyway after watching shaman king after des said the love story was a very sad one. true enough, the love story was sad. and there were some sentiments the lead female (kagome) had which related to mine. about how she realised how deeply in love she was with the lead male (inuyasha) only after his old flame came back and he decided to protect his old flame once again.

but she still looks out of reach....haizz...oh well...i can't force anything....

well...this is my first post... so to celebrate, i've decided to share with you people a quote from the book Dark Tide I: Onslaught from the series Star Wars: The New Jedi Order, written by Michael A. Stackpole.

read the book yourself to find out the rest of the dialogue. anyway, give the bolded statements some thoughts. the Jedi rarely teach the wrong things. i'll probably share with you some more excerpts from Star Wars novels that i think i should, of course as i progress further into the books.
